After Example 6.8, reference to equation (6.20) should be equation (6.24)

In the middle of the page after the equation it says "(compare to equation (6.20))". However equation 6.20 doesn't seem to have much relevance as far as I can tell. Is it supposed to be 6.24 instead? That one seems more comparable.
