This week we have to say goodbye to Guilherme Beltramini, Raphael Santarelli, Lonardo Rabelo, Angelo Polydoro, visiting CDS students from Brazil.  They will be leaving the USA on Sunday, March 19, 2006.  We wish them Bon Voyage and the best for their future, and hope to see them again one day. -- Click here -->

Welcome to Harish Bhat, CDS alumnus 2005, who is now an Assistant Professor, Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics, at Columbia University, New York.  Harish will be visiting Caltech from March 10 to March 17, 2006.

Betty Sue Herrala, CDS staff member since April 2001, retired in October 2005 and is now living in a town called San Patricio, Melaque, which is north of Manzanillo, Mexico. She has a little store one block from the beach and is enjoying every minute of life there and putting her creative talents to good use.  Good Luck, Betty Sue!

Welcome to Aaron McKinnon, the new system administrator for CDS. Aaron has replaced Michael Potter, who has moved to Geology.  Aaron is now part of a new IMSS (formerly ITS) team, who will be providing help for computing resources for CDS.  If you have any questions about computing problems, please send email to: helpcds
