Entelos is a private Silicon Valley company which provides dynamical models of disease physiology to the pharmaceutical industry. This talk will describe the role of mathematical modeling in drug development, the dialogue between modeling and experimental research, and the approach taken at Entelos, focusing on a model for T cell population dynamics at the core of the adaptive immune response.
