The Ducted Fan Experience

Over the past year, several control methodologies, including both linear and nonlinear techniques, have been applied to the ducted fan. This talk will summarize what has been learned from the experiments with emphasis on the control design process, trajectory selection, and performance evaluation. Comparisons of the different controllers will be presented along with a short video of some experiments.
