Behavioral Identification - A possible methodology

This talk is about a potential methodology for determining the behavioral model of a flexible structure for a known interconnection point. The proposed method involves doing I/O black box ID with nothing attached to the structure and with a mass attached to it. From these two models it is possible to determine the full behavioral model by solving a system of linear equations. The methodology seems to work well on a simulated triple pendulum.
