A geometrical view of an elementary reaction

The seminar will discuss classical images of triatomic reactive scattering. The long time image of dynamics, essentially chaos, is contrasted with the short time image. This short time dynamics contains most of the chemically relevant information. It is simple enough to be explained by simple images on Poincare sections. Semi-classical vibrational transfer is also shown pictorially.
