CDS wiki

CDS runs a MediaWiki installation that can be used for hosting course homepages, project documentation and other information. Note that all information the CDS wiki is publicly accessible, though editing access requires an IMSS account.

CDS online services (e-mail, web, subversion)

CDS maintains a set of servers that provide e-mail, web and subversion services. These servers are run by IMSS and provide the following functions:

• [CDS web pages|Web pages] - Apache web server, with ability to install custom software (mediawiki, wordpress, drupal, etc)
• [CDS e-mail|E-mail] - IMAP and SMTP for cds.caltech.edu e-mail addresses
• [CDS subversion server|Subversion] - web-based access to user-level subversion repositories, including directory-based access control

CMS computing

Many CDS students make use of workstations and other services supported by the Department of Computing and Mathematical Science (CMS). These services are managed separately from the services above. For help with your (CMS) workstation or CMS computing, send e-mail to help@cms.caltech.edu.
