Response: the equation is correct as written.  Exercise 6.1 states that the response to the derivative of a signal is the derivative of the response, and the first equality is making use of this fact.

Response: the equation is correct as written. Exercise 6.1 states that the response to the derivative of a signal is the derivative of the response, and the first equality is making use of this fact.
