The latex2e.scm is the latest version of the latex2e shortcuts for the MAC.
The latex2e.scu is not a complete working Unix version. Regretfully, the new features for forward and backward cursor movement do not work on the Unix platform. This file has several shortcuts for Mac cursor momvement that should not be used in Unix. It does provide a listing of the shortcuts in readable ascii form and is useful for finding out the shortcut names by using the `find' or `search' mechanisms intuitively (2004)! ;-)
VI users should use the newer VIM-LaTeX Plugin availabale at sourceforge.net and add the FasTeX shortcuts described in the latex2e.scu file if they wish. [June 18, 2007]
