**What are the intermediate steps in block diagram algebra for the Engine Control of a GM Astro example? You showed them in class, but they aren't in the lecture notes.**

The intermediate steps for block diagram algebra are shown in the pdf of the lecture from 2004. Here are the 2004 lecture slides. The last page shows all the block diagram algebra.

In class Prof. Murray mentioned that one of the blocks should be 1/(Jl s + Bl) rather than (Jl s + Bl). This is incorrect because of the direction of the arrow. The math in the notes from today (and from 2004) present the correct equations.
