Group Backpacking Hiking Trip

Mary and I were looking for options for this summer's Murray Group backpacking trip. We tried to narrow down the details according to Richard's "Devil" schedule and other tradeoffs. Currently, there are three date options and two trail choices.

  • August 3 - August 6, 2006
  • September 7 - September 10, 2006

All of them are from Thursday to sunday.

We will pick one soon.

Trail Preview

What the guidebook had to say:

"This adventure takes you to the land of the Hockett plateau, where wildflowers thrive in nature’s gardens, deer herds congregate in tall grass meadows, and lakes repose in glaciated bowls. The route then loops around to the rushing Little Kern River, whose headwater freshets plunge down flaming rock walls. The numerous side trips offered expand and extend your adventures." - Ruby Johnson Jenkins

Participants

The following people are planning to attend:

   * Mary Dunlop
   * Zhipu Jin
