The midterm will cover in detail the topics covered in weeks 1-4 in the course and will ask some questions related to week 5 (but not in as much detail, since there haven't been any homework sets on it). For CDS 101 students, the material is mainly about concepts and use of basica tools, while for CDS 110 students there are some more analytical problems (consistent with the way the homeworks have been set up).
