AFOSR Workshop Future Directions in Control 26 & 27 April 2002 Hilton Arlington &Towers Arlington, VA

General Information This workshop will provide a forum to discuss the findings of the recent panel on Future Directions in Control . The panel was funded by AFOSR; a monograph report will be published by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). The workshop will be all day Friday, and half day on Saturday. There will be a series of invited lectures, and the workshop will culminate with a panel discussion. In addition to highlighting the work that has been done, the workshop will give guidance to Air Force and other funding agencies on the state--and future--of research in the area of control and dynamics. In addition, on Friday evening there will be a special social event. To thank Dr. Marc Jacobs for all his hard work and contributions to AFOSR and his impact on the Dynamics and Control research community, there will be a banquet at the Hilton.
