Abstract:  We show how to apply recently developed numerical methods for the set wise approximation of invariant manifolds to the restricted three-body problem. In particular we show how to adapt the methods to the Hamiltonian context. As an application we compute coverings of part of a two-dimensional unstable manifold of a periodic orbit. The poster will also adress discretization questions arising in the implementation of these methods.
