Abstract:  We will show how, given a discrete mechanical system defined by a discrete Lagrangian $L:Q\times Q\to \mathbb{R}$ that is invariant under the action of a group $G$, one can obtain a discrete flow on the symplectically reduced space $\mathbf{J}^{-1}(\mu)/G_\mu$.
