Brief Biography:
Javad Lavaei received his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology in 2003. He then joined the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of Concordia University (in Montreal, Canada) in 2005 to do his Master in Control Systems under the supervision of Prof. Amir G. Aghdam, where he obtained his M.A.Sc. degree in 2006. Javad Lavaei is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Control and Dynamical Systems at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) under the supervision of Profs. John C. Doyle and Richard Murray, He is also collaborating with Prof. Steven Low in the Computer Science Department and Prof. Ali Hajimiri in the Electrical Engineering Department of Caltech.
