Problem Statement

This project involves continuing the work on a tracking algorithm developed by Dr. Ebraheem Fontaine by which the posture of a flying insect is estimated from multiple calibrated cameras. The algorithm uses unit quaternions to design an accurate geometric fly model thereby allowing capturing complex body and wing rotations, which are automatically fit to the images in each time frame.
