There is also some other small regions nearby that exhibit different types of multistability consisting of one or two stable limit cycles and possible a stable fixed point. Again these regions have not been observed and would be very hard to see experimentally, but are nearly unavoidable consequences of the complexity of the control system.
How robust are these results and the model as a whole. Do we loose are predictions if changes in the number of equations or in the parameter set are made ?
