Looking at the max and min value achieved by the limit cycle we can see the resulting limit cycles as we vary the bifurcation parameter. If we decrease rate constant for cyclin synthesis through the right most Hopf we go from a stable steady state to a region where we have an unstable steady state with a stable limit cycle around it. You can see how we have two completely different pictures as we move through the bifurcation point.
