Notes:
It is called a saddle node bifurcation and gives us a region with two stable steady states. One corresponding to interphase arrest and the other with high MPF corresponding to metaphase arrest. A logical question to ask is how robust is this region. That is, if we change other parameters does it disappear quickly or persist.
