Title: Blowing-up near an equilibrium with non-trivial isotropy

Abstract:

We will discuss the method of blowing-up the Routhian for a torus action near an equilibrium for describing the dynamics close to an equilibrium state whose isotropy subgroup is not trivial. Generalizing for a compact Lie group action, we will discuss the related problem of regularizing the amended potential in order to find relative equilibria branches bifurcating from a configuration with non-trivial isotropy.
